Real talk - one of our favorite parts of Paper Doll is the fact it's made this city of one million plus people feel like a tiny town of 1000. Through PD, we've met the best couples that YYC has to offer and we couldn't feel luckier to be part of their big days and part of this community. Along with spending our days (and nights) meeting a lot of the most lovely b+g's, we also get to drink coffee (and when we're lucky, cocktails) with the rad people that help us bring our b+g's dream days to life.

We couldn't do what we do without an amazing talented group of vendors.  So, we've decided to do a little something new on the blog and start a series called We Love You More Than Kanye Loves Kanye (seriously - we love you that much!). Every couple of weeks we'll throw some double taps to who we consider to be the Bey (or Jay!) of our little wedding-planning hearts and in the process, tell y'all about some cool people you might want to look into for your wedding (hint, hint!).

For the inaugural edition of WLYMTKLK (we love an abrev, but this out of control - we'll work on something better - we promise), we thought we would introduce you to the first person we ever officially worked with (we really lucked out on this one): Genevieve Renee

We met Gen before PD was ever officially PD (seriously, we were still playing the name game when we first contacted her). We collaborated on our first ever shoot with Gen and to this day credit her for a) giving us a chance and b) teaching us how to find light and take (somewhat) better photos (for this, us and our Instagram followers will forever be thankful!). Along with being one of the most epically talented photographers we've worked with, Gen has one of the best heads of hair in YYC, an amazing eye for detail and ridiculously gorgeous photos.

Peep our first shoot with her below and then go visit Gen's site for even more gorgeous photos!
