VOGUE

Strike the pose. Strike the pose. Come on, Vogue. Vogue.

LITTLE KNOWN FACTS*
We love a good Madonna track.
We love a good dance number (one of us more than the other).
We LOVE a good fashion magazine.

VERY OBVIOUS FACTS
We love a good wedding.

So, imagine our excitement when we had the opportunity to combine some seriously high fashion with an amazing wedding (and a pretty solid dance party too!).

Catriona + Greg got married in Old Montreal and we were beyond excited to jump on a flight and head out to help coordinate their day!  Along with two custom gowns for the bride, a mandarin collared smoking jacket for the groom and a perfectly paisley-ed blazer for the officiant-turned-MC, this wedding was full of fashion, love and happiness.

Our B + G walked down the aisle to the tune of two of their close friends singing and playing piano, were married by one of the Groom's besties and were treated to some of the loveliest speeches we've heard. They ended their evening by dancing the night away surrounded by friends, family (oh, and just a few garlands and candles - OK, by few, we mean a TON).

Overall, it was a magical Montreal moment.

XO - L+S

* OTHER LITTLE KNOW FACTS (that were less relevant to this blog post)
80% of our time is spent together (neither of us think this is an exaggeration).
30% of that time is spent arguing over our email filing system and what colors we classify as 'fun', another 10% of that time is spent with Stephanie lecturing Lindsay on how to pin things to their Pinterest board instead of screen shotting images.

A note from C+G:

"While our vision for our wedding morphed over the months leading up to the big day, the underlying goal remained the same. It was important to us that the day be as stress-free and fun-filled as possible for us and our guests. Our wedding was a destination event (Montreal) and we live in Calgary, and although we had confidence in our Montreal-based vendors, we knew we needed someone on the ground in Montreal to coordinate everything and ensure our wedding day was beautiful and coordinated without any assistance from us. Enter: Paper Doll Events. To say Lindsay and Stephanie are organized is an understatement. They are the most organized. And the most stylish and fun! They listened to our description of our perfect wedding day and turned it into a reality, organizing all of our Montreal vendors from afar and in person on the big day. Having the help of Lindsay and Stephanie made our wedding day, in a word, perfection. We literally showed up to beautifully decorated rooms filled with our favorite people and got married. The dinner and dancing that followed was seamless, with any issue that arose being handily dealt with by Lindsay or Steph without requiring our involvement. Lindsay and Stephanie are worth their weight in gold. To us, they were essential to achieving our wedding day goals, and we were so happy to have them be a part of our day."
