We've said it once (OK, we've said it more than once), but we'll say it again - we have the best clients around - and Nia + Gregg are no exception. After meeting them we had no doubt that this wedding was exactly how we wanted to kick off our 2017 season.... and then we learned that they were getting married at the Nash and we were even more excited, as it was the perfect cover for us to eat as many cinnamon buns as possible under the rouse of holding 'onsite meetings' there (is anyone else as obsessed with the daily cinnamon bun as we are?!).
Along with N+G being genuine and lovely people we've worked with, N+G are both artistic and up for any DIY challenge, which made styling + designing their wedding really fun. They also shared our philosophy of incorporating as much of 'them' as possible into the day, which meant personalized thank you notes, a stamp made from one of their favorite engagement photos + Nia's favorite childhood candy brought in as favours (tickleberries anyone!?).
They had their table numbers hand lettered on their engagement photos, a Polaroid photo guest book (on one of our favorite hand made frames to date!) and their get away car was G's 1983 BMW (decked out in garland). The wedding also featured an original song for the couple by N's dad and fun.... it featured lots and lots of fun :)
Nia's unreal dress, Gregg's unreal hair + a lot of fun below :)

A Note from N+G:
"Hiring Paper Doll was quite honestly the most valuable investment we committed to on our entire wedding. Lindsay and Steph were fantastic from the first day we met them. They took the time to sit with us, get to know us and learn about not only what we wanted on our wedding day, but also about our personalities and our style as a couple. The concepts they came up with were current, creative, elegant and quirky all at the same time, which is exactly what we were after, and they helped us to create a cohesive feel through all the different design elements we included. As a bride-to-be, when you're fresh into the wedding planning process, you're absolutely bombarded with different inspiration and ideas, and Paper Doll made it easy to curate and select only the elements which were most vital to us and our design theme.
Coming from an event planning background myself, I am acutely aware of how much work goes into not only the preparation leading up to the day, but also the organizing of final details. Having Paper Doll coordinate with our vendors as of a month out allowed me to focus on the planning pieces that I personally had on my plate. They were more than willing to take time to meet for status updates and were so diligent about addressing any questions or concerns I had immediately. Not having to think about anything the week before my wedding - and most especially the day of - was worth its weight in gold. Lindsay & Steph coordinated schedules and vendors superbly and the day-of went off without a hitch. I had so many of my guests come up to me that day to tell me how elegant, yet comfortable and perfectly "us" the whole day was - which was exactly what we wanted from the beginning. Many of them said they'd never seen a more beautiful wedding, that felt so suited to the couple. We couldn't have done this without Paper Doll! Thanks, ladies!"
